Compassion in Chinese photojournalism.

by Bob Page on 2 January 2010

On New Year’s Day, the bridge blog ChinaSmack published a series of previously unseen news photographs from China in 2009. Originally collected for the Chinese Web site Netease, they show enterprise and compassion in photojournalism. In this photograph, migrant workers watch the National Day parade on October 1 from a dormitory in Hefei, Anhui Province. For time-lapse photography of the entire Beijing parade, see this series in The Guardian.
