Vespa and international movie law
Vespa co-stars with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck
Little known fact: it is against international law to produce a movie about Italy without a Vespa. This applies to all movies after 1950, including films with Italian themes set in other countries. Nicholas Cage and Cher are still paying fines for their roles in “Moonstruck.” Mafia movies are exempt, being too dark anyway.
